By focusing on gratitude we are learning that our lives are filled with so many gifts and miracles. Each time we bring our attention toward the things we love and appreciate we create space for more of what we love!
Today I introduce you to Affirmations!
Please visit the slideshow again and again, and anchor the language and the feeling into your soul. Positive statements such as these are the building blocks to reprogramming old and outdated "recordings" that have been embedded into our brains since childhood. Sometimes we aren't even aware that negative self talk is happening in our brains. Other times it is all too noticeable that our thoughts are not in alignment with the dreams and wishes we are eager to see coming true in our lives. Repatterning the brain is pretty much the entire process for the next 30 days. Creating a new blueprint of joyful thoughts that will eventually feel as natural as some of the negative self talk now feels.
Ask for what you want in your affirmations by acting as if you already have it! Sharpening your focus on what you are dreaming about by talking to yourself as if you have it, actually confuses your brain into creating this new reality for you. In other words, the brain knows only what you tell it and believe to be true. Thoughts are things after all, as Mr. Napoloean Hill discovered years ago. If you are saying, "Everyday I am enjoying decorating my vacation home on Martha's Vineyard." as a daily affirmation your brain will need to put things into motion in order to create this new energy in your life. The more passionately you believe in your affirmations the quicker you will see them arriving in your life. This is also called manifesting, and when we are using the Law of Attraction, manifesting means that we are calling to the things we want in our lives and using the appropriate tools to bring them in.
Take a moment and put on a peaceful and meditative track of music. Find something that you love and enjoy, and play it while you are watching the slideshow. If you want to make notes about any of the slides or how you felt when you read the statements please do so.
